A Fine Day for the Fair!

Kynzie and Kasey riding the SIZZLER

Kasey Ty and Friend riding the tornado

Last week was our County Fair.  There is something very very cool about a small town county fair.  I started Fair time off by helping receive entries for the Junior Home Economics.  It was fun to see even the tiniest kids enter cookies and handy work.  Although I didn't encourage my own kids to do anything, I defiantly caught the bug now and will be entering things next year.
As Fair is a holiday around here the kids had Friday off.  For the past 4 years we have not attended the fair.  Out of site out of mind.  But this year we literally could see it from our front yard so we couldn't forget to check it out.  We took the girls on Friday to see the entries.  And of course eat a big ol' log of fries. YUMMY!  On Saturday we went back to ride the rides.  The kids had as much fun as you can have riding rides that make you want to barf.  Kenneth and I opted to not ride rides, instead we ate enough fair food to make you wanna barf.
Kynzie also got to perform with her junior high show choir.  It was a great time.  Can't wait until next year.
