The Countdown Frenzy has Begun

It's been fun counting down the days til Christmas.  I decided this year I would make a large countdown.  Everyday the kids take a bag down and open it.  Its not much a piece of candy or small prize, but they are all excited to open it every day.  Goes to show that Christmas is for kids, and we are all pretty childlike around here. 

I'm proud to say that I've gotten all my shopping done, it feels good.  I love this time of year, and it's nice when the shopping is done, so I can really reflect on the reason for the season.

Today we got to attend Kynzie and Kaseys School Christmas program.  It's good to see that some schools still have one.  The classes all sang a couple songs.  Kynzie sang a solo.  I feel lucky to have both of these girls in my life.  They are such sweeties and full of Christmas spirit.
