I had a great weekend. Saturday we left to go down to the valley of the sun. We got there at noonish. We went and ate a late lunch with my sister and a couple of her kids. My boys went to the priesthood session of GC with their cousin, and the rest of us went to my other nephews baseball game. It was a terrific game. On Sunday Grandma C turned 88. It was the first C family function I've gotten to attend in years. Every one has grown up, they have kids, they've changed. My only regret is not getting to visit with every one I would of liked to. There is so many of you that I know through blogger world, and didn't even get to talk to at the party. So a BIG HI to you, you know who you are! If I hadn't come down with a huge migraine mid party I think I would have been more in a mingling mood.
I ended up staying down in QC for an extra night, because my head thought it was going to explode. My nephew had to drive me to his house, because quite frankly I couldn't even see straight. Lucky for my I have a sister that took care of me and let me rest while she took care of the kids and I passed out! We made it home safely today... ready for another week!

Talked to G'ma last night and she sounded tired but was so thrilled that so many of you had taken the time to travel to Cool Town for her birthday. Glad that you were able to go down. I know that feeling - sometimes there are so many people at these family gatherings that you feel you've talking to a lot of people and then you leave and later you think "I didn't even have a chance to talk to "fill in the blank". Too bad Leaner's girls were still under the weather and they weren't able to make it to the party.
I was a little claustrophobic in there. Way too many people for my liking. I think she had a great birthday though. Phil was home today with a bad headache. Good thing for sisters.
Sounds like a good weekend...sans migraine. Glad you are feeling better.
Glad you are feeling better and made it home safe and sound.
I am glad you came. I was so busy trying to get grandmas pictures of everything that I didnt really get to talk to anyone for more than a minute or two.
