18/19

Yesterday I'll admit, I had a hard time feel thankful. The town I live in is in the middle of crisis (not sure if that's the right word, but it seems to fit), and it was hard not to get drawn into that mood. I had to work a very long shift at the bean and by the time I got home, I just felt physically drained. But last night we bought some ice cream bars and Wall-ee and watched as a family... and all that yuck seemed to melt away. I'm truly grateful for those times together as a family. There's nothing else that matters when your with the ones you love, Hallmarkey I know, but oh so true.

Today has just begun, my boss lady told me her husbands motto yesterday and I think it's a good one... "Every day you wake up is a good day, because you woke up!" I'm thankful to start new today.... that every day I wake up is a new day to prove that I can do this, I can pass this test, I can do good for someone else, and make the most of what I've been given.

Crisis is putting it lightly. I hope your sale still goes through, and yeah, I was down yesterday, too, even though I know I should be thankful that my husband has a job. I'm so worried about our little town and all our friends.
