I'm thankful that gas is 1.99 a gallon. That's a lot right there. I'm also thankful I earned $20.00 in tips today! Now to things that are not about money.... I'm thankful that no matter how yucky things seem sometimes that you can find something to be happy about, always. It's not about money, or material things, but true and eternal happiness is really how you feel inside. Being able to count your blessings everyday. I have learned a lot in the last couple months about just finding things to be happy about. What a remarkable way to live life. I hope that no matter what happens I can avoid getting caught up in the material things again.

Its an easy route to fall into, the material things. I was doing really well NOT thinking about new shoes/clothes/things and then Will left and those things all crept back into my life quickly. I want this, I want that, I want to go out to eat and have people serve me.

But at the same time, I don't have a hard time looking on the bright side of life, whistle whistle. I love to sing that song.

I am glad you see the bright side, too.

As soon as I saw the pump displaying a price below $2 I filled up-- $42. Yeah! So much nicer than the hundred I spent this summer. Your daily thankfuls have been a great example for me!

We are still $2.13 here for gas. I can't wait for it to be under $2.00 I love your examples of being thankful. Sometimes we get so caught up in the world that we lose out on why we are really here. Being grateful brings out the optimistic side and thats what I need. Thanks.
