Short and Sweet

Today was photo Friday.  We couldn't go very far today so we just drove around our own area.  We drove back up to the local cemetery.  It's down a long dirt road.  On our way back we noticed large piles of old burn piles.  So being the trash pickers we are we stopped and walked around.  We found a few old unbroken bottles.  I love that kind of stuff. 
This weekend should be a good one.  Ty has baseball tournament that I will go watch tomorrow.  Sunday my in laws will come for a visit.  And it's always nice to have an extra day off with family.  There's a lot of things I could think to complain about today, but for now I'm just going to enjoy the good moments.

Photo Friday- Desolate

Photo Friday was not meant to be Photo Thursday. Yesterday Wyatt and I took a drive to Heber/Overguard area to take pictures a day early due to time constraints today. Unfortunately it was a bust. I just wasn't in the mood to take pictures at all. It was nice to get out of the house and eat a little DQ with my eldest boy, but I didn't take one picture. So this morning I woke up and got showered and decided to find something to take pictures of all alone.... which seemed to fit the word desolate a little better.

Photo Friday (An Adventure in Photography)

Since this is a new type of post let me explain. Wyatt and I decided that every Friday would be dubbed photo friday, and as long as he has his school work done, we will go somewhere and take pictures. To add an element of fun we also draw a word from a jar and have to take one picture that we think represents that word. This weeks word was hard for both of us. These are some of the pictures I took. Hopefully Wyatt will let me post some of his too at some point.

This weeks word was Wonder, so I took a picture of a pile of Geodes.
