I made it, and lived to tell the tale.

Well my adventure at RAGNAR is over.  I have to admit though probably one of the craziest and hardest things I've ever done, it was pretty fun!  We started out Friday in Coronado Beach and Finished 203 miles later at Coronado Island.  Our team was called the Hot Tamales.

Here we are Van 2 of the Hot Tamales

Here's my awesome sister!  She ran a grand total of 23 miles this race!
Here I am on my first leg.  It was 95 degrees with a heat index of 105, so unfortunately I only ran 2 miles of this leg.  My sister Darcey finished it up for me.

But I did come back that night and ran my little heart out.  I loved the night run!!!  The next day was overcast and beautiful as we ran to SanDiego.  There were some crazy folk along the way, that's for sure.  On my very last mile I ran between a train track and a wall covered in graffiti, with two very eccentric homeless people in between me and the finish line.
But I made it!
Would I do it again?  Yes I would.  I've already started thinking of ways I can improve my stride and endurance for the next time I get the opportunity.
